Welcome to the Amy Lou Creative: Bead Bar
A colourful, hands-on experience for kids and adults alike. Perfect for birthdays, baby showers, team events, or a sunny afternoon with friends, the Bead Bar brings people together to create custom beaded accessories like bracelets, keychains, and bag tags.
I bring everything you need; beads, charms, findings, tools, and plenty of creative guidance - so crafters can relax and enjoy designing your own pieces. No experience needed, just good vibes and a bit of colour!
Option 1: open bar
Everything is set up and guests can craft to their heart's desire.
Guests can make as many pieces as time allows within the session. All materials are included, and I’ll be there to help with design ideas, techniques, and finishing touches.
60mins — $25 per person
90mins — $35 per person
120mins — $45 per person
Option 2: Pay-Per-Piece
This option is more of a guided experience.
Choose a minimum of two items for your group to make. Each item is priced individually — perfect for markets, drop-ins, or shorter events.

The finer details:
Set-up & pack-down
I’ll need around 30 minutes before and after the session to set up the Bead Bar and tidy up. The time you book is when we will be ready to begin the workshop.
Space
A table and chairs are required - I can provide a folding tables if needed.
Travel
Based in Hawke’s Bay. Small travel fee may apply outside of Havelock North / Hastings / Napier areas.
Minimum bookings
6 guests for Open Bar sessions. For Pay-per-piece sessions, selections must be equal to or more than $25.
Supervision
For kids’ parties, adult supervision is required.
Timeframe
Each 'Pay-Per-Piece' booking includes up to 1.5 hours of beading time (flexible for smaller or drop-in events).
Food
No food during the workshop please. Food and beads don't mix well - plus, who can focus with deliciousness close by?!
Photos & Promotion
As I’m building my gallery, I may take photos of your event (with permission, of course!) for use on my website and social media. You’ll receive a few fun shots to share, too.
